Endonasal endoscopic approaches have undergone significant evolution over the past twenty years, enabling the minimally invasive treatment of inflammatory pathology and benign/malignant tumours of the nose and paranasal sinuses. This course will provide participants with a solid foundation in anatomical knowledge and surgical techniques for the treatment of sinonasal diseases. It will cover the diagnostic work up and the essential technological instrumentations for endoscopic sinonasal and skull base surgery. It is an innovative course that will allow participants to critically analyze CT scans of fresh frozen specimens and develop practical skills in surgical dissection under the guidance of expert tutors available at each workstation. Through this experience, participants will be able to reproduce the different surgical phases, following step-by step instructions provided at the anatomical dissection center of the HNS&FDRc (Head and Neck Surgery & Forensic Dissection Research Center) of the University of Insubria.
