Our University Clinic
The Complex Unit of Otorhinolaryngology, directed by Prof. Maurizio Bignami since November 2023, is a reference center for the ORL discipline and hosts the Specialization School of the University of Insubria.
In 2019, a Simple Unit of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology was established at the Filippo Del Ponte Hospital, directed by Dr. Francesca De Bernardi. The outpatient activities include diagnosis and treatment of ORL diseases with primary and secondary level services, including multidisciplinary outpatient clinics.
Surgical activities involve the treatment of oncological and non-oncological pathologies, with various hospitalization modalities. The Clinic also provides care in the Emergency Department, Trauma Center, and Pediatric Emergency Department.
Insubria ENT School
Founded in November 2023 under the direction of Prof. Maurizio Bignami, it is an innovative initiative in the field of research and training on otorhinolaryngological diseases. It stands out for its interdisciplinary approach and excellence in the treatment of nasosinusal diseases and the anterior skull base, becoming a point of reference both nationally and internationally
